Situated between the Arts Centre’s galleries and overlooking its landscaped gardens, Hazel offers a welcoming space for visitors to gather, dine and celebrate. From casual café dining to weddings and private events, the venue embraces a versatile approach to hospitality while honouring the creative spirit of its surroundings.
Designed by Shantala Mack Interiors, the space reinterprets the architectural details of the original 1940s cottage through curved joinery, glass brick accents and a considered palette of materials. Custom Australian-made furniture by Contempo & Co complements the interior, providing flexible and durable seating solutions that accommodate the venue’s evolving needs without compromising comfort or character.
